Again the devil took Him up into a very high mountain and showed Him all the kingdoms of the world and the glory of them, and said to Him: All these will I give Thee, if falling down Thou wilt adore me. Then Jesus saith to him: Begone, Satan! for it is written: The Lord thy God shalt thou adore, and Him only shalt thou serve. Then the devil left Him: and behold angels came, and ministered to Him. |

ANNOUNCEMENTS
*Please remember to silence or shut off your cell phones when coming into church.
There is a coffee social each week after the 8:30AM Mass and potluck and catechism after the 10:30AM Mass on Sundays.
This Wednesday is Ash Wednesday, the beginning of the 40 days of Lent. Remember that it is a day of Fasting and Abstinence, which means we can only have one full meal and two small collations and no meat at all. There will be Mass with distribution of ashes at 8AM and 12:10PM.
The 40 Days for Life begins this week as well. Our parish is committed to covering prayer at the abortion mill each Thursday. Please volunteer to come and pray for the end of abortion with your fellow Catholics
Remember that each Friday is a day of abstinence (no meat) throughout Lent. This is a grave obligation.
