And one of them, a doctor of the law, asking him, tempting him: Master, which is the greatest commandment in the law? Jesus said to him: Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with thy whole heart, and with thy whole soul, and with thy whole mind. This is the greatest and the first commandment. And the second is like to this: Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. On these two commandments dependeth the whole law and the prophets.

DAY OF PENANCE
This Saturday, September 15th, has been designated as a day of prayer and reparation throughout the diocese. Immediately following the 8 A.M. Mass, the Blessed Sacrament will be exposed for Adoration until Benediction at 8 P.M.
PRAYER TO ST. MICHAEL
The Bishop has also ordered that the Prayer to St. Michael the Archangel be said after every Mass starting this coming weekend. As we already have this devotion (contained in the Leonine prayers) we will only need to add it at the Missa Cantata after the Last Gospel.
