The Sacrament of Penance is offered 30 minutes before each Mass. Requests are also taken after Mass as time dictates.

- Confessions will be heard starting at 9:15am and ending at 10:05am.
- The full Propers and Scripture Readings for Mass with a translation may be found here.
- The Rosary will be prayed starting around 9:50am in the church.

OTHER ANNOUNCEMENTS
COFFEE HOUR AND CATECHISM AFTER MASS
Parishioners are encouraged to please join in for coffee, refreshment, and fellowship in the social hall after the 10:15am Mass on Sundays. This is an informal time to speak with fellow parishioners and to build the life of the parish. Each week Father Pendergraft will teach for about 30 minutes after we have had something to eat. We have much more to learn about our Catholic Faith and we need to be reminded of things that we already know. Guests are encouraged to come.
FEAST OF THE ASSUMPTION
On Monday, August 15th Holy Mass will be offered at 12:10pm (Low Mass) and at 7pm (High Mass) for the Feast of Our Lady's Assumption into Heaven. There will be a social in the church hall downstairs after the 7pm Mass. Please join us.
PASTOR'S NOTES
There continue to be many improvements that are being done here at the parish. I thank those who are assisting in those improvements and in the daily care of the church. One improvement that has been made this week is the fixing of the audio system. This should help at both the sermon for Mass and the catechism downstairs.
The second Altar Server Guild meeting will be on Saturday, August 20th after the 8AM Mass. All those able to attend please be there. Any families who can help bring something for a quick breakfast are very appreciated.
On Saturday August 27th, we will have a fellow priest of the Priestly Fraternity of St. Peter, Fr. Calvin Goodwin, FSSP who will give a talk to the parish following the 8AM Mass. Father is a wonderful speaker and I encourage all to attend.
The tentative date for the first Altar Society meeting is Saturday, September 3rd. All interested in helping with the church decoration in any way should attend.
